These illustrations were done for the Wildlife Conservation Society to demonstrate how freshwater content within a lagoon changes depending on lagoon structure. In order from top to bottom the diagrams show a connected lagoon, a barrier island lagoon, a seasonal lagoon (open) and a seasonal lagoon (closed).
